Book Nook & Wonderland Bookstore

Hi all, now for something totally different. I’ve spotted these in our local garden stores, ranging from my bookstore kit to an oriental street scene with an elevated train. Very interesting and reminding me of a shadow box. The brand of the kits which are made from laser cut mdf/ply with peel off transfers and accessories, really appealed to me. My wife gifted me this kit for fathers day.

The manufacturer is Rolife.

Started on one of the bookshelves with my trusty Rocket card glue.
After this I may give the glass house and plant kit a go, or wait for my next gift… :winking_face_with_tongue:

Any way, till next time.

What scale is it?

Hi ya, good question. Maybe about 1/12 (doll house) for this one.

It varies from kit to kit. For me its a visual thing that appeals.

Till later.

Built one for my mother. Quite detailed and pretty fun to build.

Hi ya!

Managed to finish the book nook, its really neat. Here are the pics in chronological order then a large step to the completed build on the shelf.

This is the battery pack for the light.

The wiring harness and a container in pieces.

Construction moving along swiftly.

Examples of the range.
At last, the completed build on my shelf.

Thanks for taking a look and sharing the moment with me.

Till next time.

There is no real scale, since many of these scenes depend on forced perpective, making the scene depicted appear deeper than it really is.

Not sure, I’m guessing about 1/12 for this little dio. They vary.
