Border is continuing its “full interior” offering with this new release. Probably recycling a lot of parts from its “Mk. 2D” release last year.

Looks a helluva lot like my Takom Mk.2B, 'cept for the PE grilles up front. Wonder how compatible that interior would be on a Takom 2B or 2D?

I have both the Border 2D and Takom 2B and 2D and they’re definitely not the same base kit. I think the Border interior would fit the Takom kit, but as you’d have to buy a complete Border 2B or 2D, it probably defeats the point unless they decide to market the interior separately.
The Border 2D is a fantastic-looking kit in the box. Border seem to come in for a lot of criticism, but they knocked it out of the park with their Merkava from what I can see.
I’m thinking the 2B will be as good. My only doubt is the pe intake grill on the driver’s side, which looks like the type fitted to the 2D, but I haven’t seen this type on a 2B.
