Two kits in a box? If the price is right, I get one and re-purpose it for modern tracks. Maybe 100 Euros for the box?

Next important question. When will we get a M106 mortar carrier? It will be about time to get a new kit.
It would be a logical release lets hope it comes.
Or a two-in-one kit with the option of either the M125 85mm. mortar carrier or M106 4.2 in. mortar carrier. A 120mm. M1064A3 would be awesome as well.

I posted some photos here of the exterior a few months ago. I’m talking with the gal at the museum to see about a day when I have time to come out and have them open up the M106. That’s the only way it’s going to get done. Unless of course you have access to one.

I was into one in the 1990´s. But back in the day, we had the Tamiya kit and the Verlinden book. I have only a walkaround of a M1064 from Graf.

Just put in my order today for the big box with stowage. I’ve been wanting to do an M577 but not at the prices the ebay pirates are asking. The ACAV will be fun too.

Anyone looking for the MR Modellbau M1064A3 Conversion? If so, this guys has 3 at a very good price. No affiliation, but I can attest that the MR set is very nice.
The guy also sells the Tamiya M106A1 kit for a good price. I went ahead and bought one of them, since the MR conversion kit would require you to have the M106 kit already. I most likely have a couple of the better Academy M113A3 kits; so I can slap the M106A1 top hatch to the M113A3 hull; then use the MR Models conversion kit to replace the “Four Deuce” mortar with the “One Twenty”.

the M1064A3 has always been on my “to do” list, and perhaps one of my favorite variants of the M113 family, next to the M163A1 VADS.

Definitely not missing out on this one. I think Takom has become my new favorite kit brand.
