This detailing is what’s going to save the kit… super work…. And those MBSGD will need a good drill out …..

Wow Terry I’m so glad I strayed beyond my usual twilight zone forums, I’m clueless on this particular vehicle but I know it when I see potential glory and serious scratch-building cojones. Great job, I’ve joined your cheer squad (must we wear mini-skirts?) & looking forward to learning about your cunning plan to eradicate print-lines.

As with a lot on this model they are wrong size wise so they will be replaced and modified as with most British kit they have covers on ..

Some detail shots of the additional hydraulic cables. The central hydraulic are needed removing as it was totally the wrong size shape and position..several hours and plastic card to the rescue

Having set myself the task of redoing this kit I decided that if I’m going todo it then let’s make it a bit different.

So the Terrier will be fitted with the Pearson SCD …..surface clearance device ..

Bloody hell Terry - nothing like making life difficult for yourself!

Good for you Mate, look forward to this one - at the end(!)

So this SCD – is there a 3D of it or are you scratching it? Just looking at those chain supports, I reckon some long safety pins would be ideal  :upside_down_face:

Well yes my thoughts ..but as the excavator bucket bears only a passing resemblance..I came to the conclusion go big or go home

I can assure you it won’t be a bloody 3D print …..
