British Para, Ranville, D-Day 1944

I love them too for sure; ours and yours !!
From a modeling point of view, armor is my first love, figures a close second, but in the real world I was an infantryman and have tremendous respect for all of them.
Now if I could just get off my butt and get to painting some figs!

Thank you Hohenstaufen btw

a bootneck is royal marine. there is some professional rivalry between them and the para’s.

I hear that ,just like in the US there is a rivalry between the Marines and Army etc

Rob what color did you use for the webbing?

Hi Richard.

For the KG3 Blanco, I used Vallejo Model Colour Khaki mixed with Brown Violet. If memory serves, it was highlighted adding more khaki and even some Ivory, and black added for the shadows

Ok thanks, Ammo pouches too ?

Yes, anything related to webbing, other than the greener light gas mask case. That was khaki with reflective green added.

Great thanks. Excellent job on your figure. Working on a para now myself
