Hi all
A friend of mine is currently building the GAZ as depicted in the cartoon Blake and Mortimer. He wants to add a driver and has no idea which reference could be suitable. I’d appreciate any suggestions for him.
TIA
Olivier
Which comic he wants to build? I have read them years ago. Should it be a civilian or military figure?
He told me it is the latest issue. I guess the most important is that the figure can be seated at the wheel.

Could it be “La Machination Voronov”? Like said before I read the books about 30 years ago from a friend. An illustration would be helpful. Maybe you friend could scan the pic?
depending on the time frame, but maybe with some modifications…
Is it the GAZ 69 from Bronco ?
I’ve finished mine a few months ago.
The decals from Bronco simply dissolved after a few mins in the water… be aware.
Yes it is the Bronco one. Thanks for the warning. However I guess my friend won’t use the decals as he intends to depicts the car as in the comic book.

Thanks Olivier, I guess I have to catch up my reading.
I have that book.
I’ll have to check it out.
It’s not an easy kit, as usual Bronco went above and beyond with the detailing… with tiny PE part whenever it was possible.
All the decals, dials, exterior markings, license plate needed replacement on my kit.
Try to get some AM masking for the windshield and doors.
Could the one in Tamiya GAZ-67 kit be usable ?
If the car is built with the canvas top and doors fitted, not much would be visible anyway…
H.P.
I’ll tell my friend about this one. I guess he won’t pay a full kit for just a driver figure though.
