Brushability of AK Interactive?

Apologies if this topic is already floating around the forums…

As I am on the hunt to try another brand of German Dark Yellow, I’m curious to know if this is suitable to be brush painted (I own an a/b but I don’t have access to it or my compressor atm). I’m reading that it is an acrylic lacquer a la Tamiya, so yes?
It is at a really good price here in Aus so am keen to grab a few…

Cheers

I have brush painted with it many times. Actually, it brush paints worlds better than Tamiya.

Thanks mate. WRT brush painting, it’s good to go straight from the jar or needs a little thinning like Tamiya?

AK 3rd generation acrylic paints are nice too with brush application. Very good coverage.

It’s fine from the jar but it could use a little thinning. Thin with Mr. Color Leveling Thinner for best results.

Being it is a long weekend here & I am sans partner, I thought it would be good to get some paint down on a couple of German armour models. I want to have a go with this colour - can I clean up my brush with water or water/iso mix or will I need to grab some proper lacquer thinner from hardware?
