Hi all
This is my latest finished model. It’s the BTM-3 High Speed Trench Digger from Trumpeter, which is a really nice model, but not for beginners.
Hope you like it.
Nice job Jacob. How did you make the chains on the digger teeth?
Olivier
Nice job!
Wow, I dig it
Excellent job on it .
I used some fine metal chain, patience and a lot bad language
Nice model.
Tgat is beautifully done
What was your method of painting it? Subassemblies? I have the same kit, and am trying to find a method of doing the painting. I want to do mine with the digger down, on the base of one of the plastic display cases (IMEX) with part of the base grassy, the other part clear plastic, with the digger going from grass to plastic, digging shards of plastic. I too will use fine chain to correct the buckets, model railroad shops usually have very fine chain which should scale out nicely.
I dig it!
BADUM-TSH!
Hey! I’ll be in all week. Please enjoy the waitresses and tip the veal.
Yes, subassemblies are a must on this one. And be warned, that the assembly of the digging wheel and its attachment is quite fiddly.
