Been tempted a few times with one of these Pzr II kits so will watch avidly for your progress and thoughts as you go along.

“All different sizes”

What? Are you sure you’re putting the right ones in the right places? Have they different part numbers? That doesn’t sound logical. It’s more likely that the ones at each end of the row would be special.

well this order is where the instructions say they go, and the only way they will fit to keep all the roadwheels level. Weird but it works/

Here is a Pic. of the instructions showing where they go.

Notice the middle one has the heavier spring.
Some of the Springs are longer, and some shorter.
Nothing is interchangeable here.

The actual suspension arms look to be the same size; it’s the spring blades that seem to differ in their number. I imagine that is perhaps because the load varied at those points.

Actually the tops of the arms where the springs mount are all different heights.
Note the tops of the arms pictured above.

some more done.

The Idlers are the early ones, they also give you the later ones.

On the Early Idlers there are fine points on the outer ring where the fins on the inner part mount.
well that’s all for now.

I had a bit of a problem, the Swing Arms kept on coming off.
I Couldn’t get them to mount properly.
it turns out , that while I thought I had it correct, the mounting holes were too small and I couldn’t get a good bond there
I removed all the arms keeping them numbered so I could get them back on in the correct order.

I used a 5mm. drill to enlarge the mounting holes after removing the so-called working parts, Theydinn’t work anyway.

Well that’s fixed.

Now continuing on.
the fenders went on easily

You have ti make a hole in the rear plate, for the Tail Light.
I should have checked earlier, it would have been easier then.

Ill be working on the upper Hull next, I know I’m slow this build, I have been having problems with my Heart.

Sorry, I just can’t do this anymore.
This Build is ended as far as I’m concerned.

Sorry to hear that, I do enjoy watching all of your builds on Armorama. But I get it, sometimes you just need to trash a kit that is not working for you. Bin there done that.

What happened Donald? This one looks like it was going okay.

It wasn’t going ok, just one mess after another, and I just couldn’t do it anymore.
It just went to the landfill, I did salvage the Track though.
