I have a little more done.
The Sprockets gave me a time, somehow I got the inner part of the Sprocket teeth reversed, luckily I found out before the glue set and I was able to correct this.

Not so lucky on the front Axle mount I didn’t realize that one mounting tooth was larger than the other. I just made the mounting hole larger.

Finished for now.

Some more completed, The rear doors and front Wheels.
The Rear Doors are about 1/2mm too wide and need trimming if you want them closed.

Now the front Wheels, the Wheels are nice and even have a Valve Stem , the Tires leave a lit to be desired. I’m using the leftover tires from the Das-Werk kit they fit great and have the sidewall markings.
The following Pics. are a comparison.

Very interesting to watch you work on this Kit Donald. I’m waiting to see how the Das Werk one comes out, so will probably go for that rather than Trumpeters. Trouble is so many other kitsets arriving in 1/16th to tempt like the M113.

Hope you are well

I have that one ordered from Andy, one thing though .
If the front Wheels are the same as the ones in their first 251 kit, they will need replacing.
The tires are good it’s just the Wheel rims suck. I already have a replacement set for it.

The Wheels are ready to be installed after painting the Hull.

On the Wheels the center pairs have Pe. rings on them.
You can install the rings to the Wheels first being shure to get them centered on the rim so the Tire will fit over them.
Or you can install the Tire first and then fit in the rings.
They fit inside the tire edge.
The only problem with that is how to glue in the rings , and then how to paint everything.

Clearly, the Das Werke tires and rims are just showing that they need to be inflated to set the bead properly in the rims; anyone who’s watched new tires being put on their car has likely seen it any number of times.

I have some painting finished.

Now to put it all together.

The Wheels are installed, You will have to glue them in place as there are no retainers, and they will fall off.

Working on the Track now, a lot of cleanup
