Here’s a double build comparing the Tamiya kit and the Dragon kit.
I did this back in 2015 with 178 Pics.
More tomorrow , I don’t want to overload the website computer.

Nice to see a side by side comparison build … you can clearly see the differences in the kits. That work you did on the mudguard springs/levers is very very neat. Lovely work Donald.
Excellent comparison!
Sweet fender springs!
This is gonna be a good one!
Very interesting seeing these 2 come together side by side. Really shows the problem areas and its very good to see how you adapt to fix them. Both looking great so far.
Just FYI, in photo 43, the unidentified item is the stub base deflector. When the gun fires and ejects the shell’s base, that deflects it down, so it does not bounce around the turret and damage things, esp. the crew.

Very nice build so far, Donald. Thanks for sharing.
As far as I know the Live Resin M2 50 cal’s barrel is a little longer than it’s supposed to be. Its barrel length is closer to the newer M2A1 version, rather than straight M2. PEO Soldier | Portfolio - PM SL - M2/M2A1 .50 Caliber Machine Gun
Dragon kit’s part may be closer to the real length. It should be 47.26mm in 1/35 scale: both Asuka and Dragon M2s are close that length.
It’s always very pleasant to follow your builds. They come with useful tips which is great from you.

Continuing on.
Looks lovely Donald. Its making me want to get my RFM SEPV2 out and build it now …
Looking good
Well this finishes this build , Next is a Tasca Sherman Jumbo with Concrete front Armor.
That starts tomorrow.

Nice to see this as well. Glad you have documented all your work. It’s a good reference for us that have yet to build such subject.
That’s why I’m doing this , what I have available is only about half of what I have done . I lost a lot of builds. Fore example the 1/35th. T72 in the 1/16th. final Pics. That was really nice , engine included.
