I have the Torsion Arms installed and the inside and Transmission painted.

Still working on it.

I painted the lower hull , and installed the Wheels.
The Idler Wheel should be installed on its shaft , the shaft inserted and rotated to engage
otherwise you’re not going to get it on.

I’m working on the Track next , they are link and length.

The Tracks are assembled , Painted , Installed , & Weathered.

Now to think about if I want to bother with the interior , as you can’t see much of it through the hatches.

I’m not going to build the interior it’s just too much work and most can’t be seen.

Finished for now.

Wow! This is a new Takom kit? That’s really bad.

Donald, I feel for you, that’s unfortunate.

That’s horrible ~1.5mm or ~1/16 of an inch old school. Wow! Takom appears to have really fumbled the ball with the Panther D.

An acquiescence at model club build a Takom Panther A and had not one good word to say about the fit. I thought he was exaggerating how bad some parts failed to fit together.

Some may wonder why I bother , well I hate to quit. These parts in the coming Pics. help a little bit , nah they help a lot otherwise this kit would have gone in the garbage.
I still have a few more in different variants say Berge panthers. One thing for Shure I’ll not be using the kit tracks , they suck big time. I have a bunch of RFM Track sets to use then , if when.
OK enough of the bitchen on to the Pics.

The parts trim off fairly easily not very brittle like some.

Here they are mounted.

Now to paint it all.

Donald the Heavy Hobby parts look fantastic! Appreciate the pictures of them.

Yeh they are really nice and the price at least when I purchased them wasn’t too bad.
The resin is a little more flexible than some out there.
You just have to be extremely careful on trimming sp you don’t cut the wrong piece.

Thank you for the link Donald. I have a crappy Italeri Panther that needs all the help it can get. Looks like Heavy Hobby parts will help.

Now for some thoughts on this kit.
#1 If you don’t have it , don’t buy it
#2 If you are going to build it replace the Track ( If you don’t Hey I told you so)
#3 I have a few others that after this will probably never get built

If you want a panther get the RFM Kit
