Lower hull looks pretty straight forward. Been wanting to add an M109 to my motor pool.

Why do you fill the push pin marks. Aren’t they on the inside of the model???

They are under the Sponsons (the side extensions) and with the track sag are visable when looked at at certain angles.

Now the Track , this isn’t the kit track as I don’t like the band type track. It is an individual link workable track from a company named Riich it works quite well.
I have built various brass assembly jigs to ease assembly.
now on to the track.























For me how the track on a model is the most important part , If it looks good it enhances the build if it doesn’t it detracts.
I’ll have the final pics. tomorrow.

Nice painting job !

A bit surpised with the track lenght you have chosen.
With only 78 links instead of 80, they look too short because tracks don’t sit on the wheels and all guide teeth are visible.

It’s just the Pics. the Track sits on all the wheels except for the first 2 , they slope up to engage the sprocket see Pic. #88
