Thanks for Sharing Donald.Love your informative builds a lot.I do like the M60 series but only have Esci and Italeri ones in my stash.

Ditto on what Gino says. The square box is to
Protect the gage from damage, since it’s made of plastic.
#48. Yes, the real ones are also installed/closed that way, front to back.
#61. The Mg. is small. It is the M219, a cut down version of the old M1919 in 7.62mm NATO. It was a piece of junk and got replaced by the M240.
#71. The alternate mantlet is just the regular mantlet without the cover installed. If you look at the old Tamiya kit, that is how they modeled it.
Wow, that was a nice, quick build. I have the USMC version with the ERA and the dozer blade; might tackle that one soon.
Not quite that quick , i wish.
note the title this was from 2015 about 8 years ago.
I’m not trying to fool anyone , that is why I put the date of the build in the Title.

Still; a very nice build. I’ll be honest; the M60 Series of MBTs is one of my favorites from the Cold War era.
Nice build.
#35 2 oblong marks: these are for additional lifting eyes on some M60A2
