I don’t know how I missed it but I did not know has a dog was made one of these. I’ve got to get one! Before I was kidnapped by aviation, I spent all of my time hanging around construction sites fascinated with the heavy equipment. Road graders, backhoes, bulldozers, these front end loaders - the four horse(power)men of my utopia!
If you’re interested Gecko has a pair of steer loaders , one with wheels and one with tracks.
Andy has them on sale.

You should add some US Navy Seabees decals. I know that it would not be correct, but it would look nice.
Screw them. The build looks great to me.
Hasegawa has a few 1/35 construction and farming equipment kits.
What??? It’s a great looking model! Yeah, screw them if they don’t like it. They can KODA - Kiss Ol’ Donald’s Aft!
I’m happy to see this model. Heavy equipment just does not get the love it deserves.
Does any of the US military branches us this?
No. They generally use Caterpillar or other American made equipment.
too bad no one makes any 1 35 scale Caterpillar equipment
3D printed:
Thundermodel and MiniArt each offer WW II era Cat D7 in various forms - Meng has a D9R in Armour which can be civilianized with some effort . Accurate Armour makes WWII era Bucyrus crane and
shovel .
Very cool build Donald !!!
I was looking more for what is currently used by US Army combat engineers
I read at some point that Caterpiller had a very strong non use patent on anyone using their name. That was why if you saw anything it didn’t have their name logo. Wayne
I am one of the many who goes nuts for this! I bought exactly this one a month ago and planned to have it civvy for my series of Middle East turmoil subject. Thanks for anticipating so many hints, it’s going to make it a lot easier.
Are you going to set your nice build in a scenario?
Sorry I built this about 3 years ago.

Donald
