Building the 1/16th. Puma from Das Werk

It’s all how you look at it, Maby yes, Maby no.
Just because you can’t find pictures doesn’t mean it never happened.
I would prefer a mixed set but not for more than the cost of the kit…

Yes, we can say that about everything, just because there aren’t any pictures, doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. But I tend to try and err on the side of logic, and there are sufficient photos available of the Puma to suggest that these tires were simply a rarity on it and not commonplace.

OK, I’ll bite…what was the most common tire pattern on the 234/2?

There really wasn’t a “most” common tire pattern. The difference is that the tires included in the kit are “gelande”, i.e. all-terrain/off-road tires, whereas the Puma typically used “Civilian” pattern tires. There are at least 7 different civilian tread patterns seen in pictures and many Puma seem to carry some sort of mix, probably due to the fact that the civilian tires were not as durable as gelande or extre-gelande tires.

Well it is finished, I have been having trouble with my camera and this is what came out.

Just a Thought
#1 The extra Sprue I think was a little overkill , If any of you want just follow my Pics. on how to do the Suspension. It’s not really hard to do, just take your time.
#2 Page 13 View P orts are a little tricky but there’s nothing inside to see anyway.
#3 Page 14 I assembled the Hinges then added them to the Hull.
#4 Be careful with parts K15 & K19 also L12-L13-L14 &L15 the movable panels fit in between them.
#5 Page 17 Install L4 & L5 to fenders not the Hull.
#6 Page 17 Pic. 15 H25 & H26 are shown on the wrong sides.
#7 Page 17 Pic. 15 L31 & L32 are reversed Pointy end goes to rear.
#8 Page 18 Pic. # 17 Tail marker goes on left side , Fill hole on the right side.
#9 Parts K5 & K30 are fore the Star Antena If not using fill the spot on the hull.

This is what I have found and can remember, anyway I hope this helps any of you that want to build this kit,
Regards
Donald

I hope it helps you, this is why I build and post, to show as best that I can how it goes together.
I know that there are modelers out there that can do a better jub, but they aren’t posting complete builds , Start to finish.
