Does anyone have a fuller pic of this type of headset - which I’m assuming is used in Spz and tanks alike?
I’m really keen to see if there was a securing band - for want of a better word - on the rear. - or did it just rest on the head as it was? I believe this type still utilised throat microphones - just visible in the photo.
Any help gratefully appreciated as I’m in the middle of converting figures - again.

Well, I think I’m more or less on the right lines:
The Driver figure for my M48A2GA2 project. What? You didn’t know about that? Well, flushed with success (more or less!) of my USAREUR version, recently completed, I thought I’d pursue the species a bit further, with the German 105mm version:

Aaaand, ready to install in my M48A2GA2:
The beret still looks a bit shiny but that’s due to the lighting I’m afraid; now, on with the build!

Panzertruppen usually wear the black beret, as do the Panzeraufklärer.

Not in this case Hermann; my model will represent an M48A2GA2 from Jaegerbataillon 531, the crews of which wore the Jaeger beret.
You’ll have to get up early to catch out Mrs Stoddart’s little boy!

Ah, that’s caught me out a bit Richard; I wasn’t planning on formulating an article as a project as such; after all, most constructional aspects are the same as my US version. Hmmm. I’ll have to think a bit.
