Prototype Bushmaster “B1” & “B2” deployed to Dili, East Timor 1999
Soldiers from the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) successfully completed their training on the Bushmaster PMV in Darwin following the gifting of 15 vehicles in April 2023 :
The Bushmaster above has its troop compartment windows plated over…I guess it could be an “early” uparmored model. In the later production batches the windows have been deleted.
I see a few changes. The winch has either been enclosed or removed in favor of storage, the side bins have been changed and that contraption installed. No opening doors for the front crew, no steps in fuel cell. The rear doors open left to right and appear to be original dimensions (not oversized). Are these new to the Dutch to add to their original fleet of Bushmasters?
Excellent quality photographs of all the vehicles, great references all around.
Thanks for all your hard work unearthing all these Bushmaster references HP, well done!
The Australian-built EOS R400 remote weapon station as originally fitted to Australian, Dutch and Ukrainian Bushmasters (I guess upgraded versions can be seen as well…)
Nice hi-res view of a Dutch Bushmaster (MEW variant) with a different location for the tow bar
