what do you suggest for modeling tiny wires for headsets ? and also ropes or wires on vehicles for attaching camo vegetation?

For tiny wires like that of a headset, I use 0.1mm copper wire. For ropes, you can either use twine or twisted metal wire, but have to watch out for loose hairs in twine which you might have to run through wax to get rid of.

Another company (actually a one man operation) that produces remarkable scale “rope” is Ropes Of Scale. They make a large variety of ropes in various diameters. Highly recommended.
