Canopy F-86a

AT the back of a canopy of an F-86a (Hasegawa 1/48) there seem to be 2 transparent small windows and perhaps a kind of light?

Can anybody provide me with some info ,if these are indeed windows and what color that light should have (in case it is indeed a light)

thanks in advance

This 1:1 one is a “F” though…

Guess based on this “E” cutaway

Got no clue about the other “hole”…

that’s already very helpful, thanks a lot

Same area on a 3D model

This is from the 1/48th Clear Prop F86 A instructions.

There is a window looking area at the rear of the canopy but there is no call out for anything other than aluminum, and from the above picture there is nothing that attaches on the inside of the canopy.

Some other photos.

I think the bulb would be too small to identify a color.

Maybe paint a dot on the underside of the canopy at the point the bulb would be located. Then paint zinc chromate over that. When you paint the outside of the canopy aluminum leave the small window unpainted. You would be able to see the small bulb from the outside of the canopy then.
