1/72 would be the icing on the cake!
To me this is quite an important kit; 60 Thor missiles were deployed in eastern England at the height of the Cold War. They were dispersed amongst 20 bases, each supporting 3 missiles.
On Saturday morning 27 October 1962, as a result of the Cuban missile crisis they were all activated, their shelters slid back and then raised into the launch position. Of course, we all know now what transpired, but it must have been an inspiring yet fearful sight.
I’ve often thought about trying to replicate a Thor launch pad in 1:144 and this might be a kit to invest in.
