Carlson's Raider, Pacific Islands 1943

Ok lads, as no-one else is posting their stuff, looks like it’s up to me to make you all suffer…
So, it’s another DML conversion (see the pattern forming here?). Paper plants, bamboo is from styrene rod. Rest of it, I can’t remember as it’s from a few years ago (I’ll get to the recent stuff soon…Unless you post of course!)

Very nicely done… What was the method with the plants they look great.

I think the plants were paper items . Greenline? Might be a Japanese make? Airbrushed then gloss varnish. The bamboo was made using a technique by a modeller on the old Armorama site. Might be Robert Blokker? It involves cutting styrene tube into sections then using cement to melt the ends to form the lines around them. Have a look before it disappears.
