I have just finish my second 1:35 Centurion Mk 5 model from Amusing. I made it as Danish late Centurion with laser range finder, and night vision equipment. Painted with Hataka A286 Danish Green (SK/80).
Changes:
105mm L7 gun from a Dragon kit.
Scratch build laser and nigth vision. (PZB 200 from Meng Leo 1A3)
Asuka/Tasca 0,50 Heavy machine gun.
IR projector from Meng Leopard 1A3.
Barracuda camo net from AK No AK8059.
Scratch build turret basket.

a. When did this version come into service?
b. Where did you obtain the markings (decals)?

The 90 modified Centurion Mk. 5/2 DK went into service in September 1985, used until all medium tank units in Denmark got the Leopard 1A5 in 1994, the last 70 reserve Centurion´s was scrapped in 1999.
I used the Echelon T35008 Leopard 2 “Fearsome cats of the European Nations” for all the decals.
