Robin. This book clarifies the differences between the early Centurion marks.
Scorpion Miniature Models will publish a second book, hopefully later this year, about the later marks.
In the meantime, if you go the SMM website, you will find sets to make all of the later marks, plus the clarification you seek.

These books are much needed. The more I looked at Centurions, the more I became convinced that the Marks/Variants were chaff to confuse the Soviets!
