Yep, that’s the beauties
Thank you for all your nice messages
I could build a danish one easy build with just a few changes to the hull and turret same with Dutch . Swedish I have done.
no one has attempted to build a TRAIQ so here goes
I will build a TARIQ or a Jordan MK7
So just to give you an insight to what is involved this is what I took from the web .
![cent bbc](https://forums.kitmaker.net/uploads/default/original/3X/1/9/19b9637f061b924bc685d39dee0215075ee441a8.jpeg)
so what do I need to do . ok this is the list of modifications to a Mk5 or 3 kit
1 new turret will use the scorpion models mk7 turret .
2 engine deck luckily I hav e aspare Israeli one
3 extend hull and modify it to mk7 hull
4 add V shape to hull base
5 new suspension units and yes they are handed and wheel ride height his higher
depends I might mark etch AVRE version you can see which was seen in Libya and in jordain .
there are several in the new museum but other then the AVRE with fascine on inside they all had things changed . the one out side is a true un spoilt Tariq .
so that’s the plans whether I get it finished depends on what’s going on in my life but I might start with suspension units this weekend .
anybody got walk arounds of the Tariq in Jordan I be very happy

Don’t know why you complained about the wheels on yours @Canmedic mine only came with 6….
Just kidding, it came with all 12 but someone definitely dropped the ball on the instructions. I decided to omit the poly caps, they are WAY too small. Also got the back on, and had a gap to fill, at least I am hoping this seam in the back on both sides needed filling. That’s what PMMS says anyway
When I look at your workshops, I want to start one of my Centurions …
Huh… that is odd. I don’t know that I even looked at the instructions for mine. I just glued them together.
Best part about those poly caps…
So I had just finished gluing all my wheels together when I saw the poly caps sitting on my bench. I’d totally forgotten about them. So I pried ever single one apart, put the cap in, glued them all back together… and as you found out, they don’t fit.
I ended up drilling them all out…
I did the opposite. I put them in, glued the wheels together and then tried dry fitting and found them way too small. Luckily I used slow setting testors glue so I was able to peel them apart and pop out the poly cap.
I didn’t actually find gluing the rubber rim on that difficult, but I can already see they’ll be a pain to paint
Hi Mead
little tip . that is a weld mark at the back of the hull either use Tyrone rod and melt it in the joint or make a weld seam out of putty .
great build so far

D’oh! I knew I should have asked first! I already filled, I’ll do a putty weld bead. Does the bead run horizontal only or also down the diagonal/vertical seam?
Can I still join the challenge?

Go for it!
Yes please!
Only rule is no British tanks. Any other country and variant is good to go, even fictional ones.
Edit: here’s the wiki page, you can scroll down for operators.
Ok-fire out!!
The following model with additions was chosen … I just hope that this challenge will motivate me to complete the model on time …
Any of you cats proficient with image editing? I’ve been trying to come up with a campaign award.
This is what I’ve got so far. I’m doing it all on mobile though so my edits aren’t coming out as smooth as the base image. My pixels are looking huge in comparison.
My computer melted my camouflage putty
You’re just looking for an excuse to show off that case.
Ah yes, the amazon special.
In all seriousness though, does anybody have any experience with this AK putty? I know one user had issues with it taking paint off.
I have a tin. I’ve used it on a few builds with mediocre results.
The problem is, as you see, it self levels. Even without heat. Ends up leaving you with very hard edges and makes a mess.
I’ve had it peel paint here and there, but I’ve chalked that up to poorly cured paint or paint pooling under folds and burning through the base coat rather than flashing off.
It’ll also eat small pieces if you’re not careful.
It is nice for masking off irregular shapes because of how it conforms though.
I’m gonna stick to blue tac from now on I think.
Noted. I’m assuming the Canadian three-tone camo was not perfectly hard-edged, is this correct?
Awesme, thanks!
