Challenger 2 TES Megatron, RFM 5039, 1/35

Hi Roland,

You’ve done a great job on the build, and I really like the way you have displayed the beast, very effective, :slightly_smiling_face:.

Cheers,,

Beautiful work Kleber.

Did you solder the etch bars?

Or, did you use glue? If you used glue could you tell us the specific brand you used?

Disregard, I do believe I see Solder on the etch. This kit with the Etch will be my very first attempt at soldering photoetch. I’m busy with other work now, but the Megatron will be up in short order…I hope.

Thanks, G.

Yes, I soldered the etched parts. However, it is very difficult to get the angles in 90 degrees. When I glue etched parts, I use VMS flexy glue.

The painting,
first a Layer Vallejo Olive darb Primer.

After drying, Vallejo Bronze Green, with shadows and lights.

I like to try something new, here the stencils of AK.

At the next day a little bit semi gloss Clearcoat. After that, i use the new MIG Shaders.

Masking and lets go…

It works.

Tamiya Panelliner on the wheels.
