Very nicely done mate… Really pulled it out the bag … And one of your best to date in my opinion… hopefully will see it up close next Sunday
Thanks John; see you there!
Brilliant in every way, surely one of the best builds of this year already – and bonus point for the whackiest. The kitchen (?) setting made me chuckle, would be nice to see it in daylight against some trees or whatever. Bravo
Thanks Tim; the kitchen is around the only place where I have space and light (for photography) - I only ever seem to get around to taking pics in the evening. It’s not as though I haven’t got decent backgrounds around me - eg Salisbury Plain - I clearly need to up my game!
The kitchen tile could pass for an urban setting if you squint lol
That’d be a lot of squinting!
lol yes it would Brian !
Absolutely fantastic result on this one Brian. I’ve not been around these parts much lately (lots going on) so having a catch up and just been through this thread. Love it!
I’m happy that my idea of naming the tank “Loki” after its little cameo on Marvel’s “Loki”, became reality.
Absolutely Reynier, I couldn’t pass that by!
Thanks Terry - 'glad you found it interesting.
And I can happily report back that it looks even better in real life when you see it up close !!
Cheers John(!)
Awesome looking vehicle… And quite an oddball too.
Love the story you build around it, but where are the Fraulein? I would be a nice addition to have one or two German civvies added to the road side…
It would, but then I’d have to figure out what they’re doing on the edge of a village, which would probably mean a more involved street scene with buildings, then I’d have to go down the rabbit-hole of German couture in the late 50s, let alone source figures. Far too much work!
Hiking maybe? I believe that was quite a popular past time at the time..
Hah! Yes, complete with Lederhosen, which I think would be appropriate for the part of Germany indicated!
Well, good luck modelling that!
Not for me.
Oh, yeah, a bunch of people volksmarching would be very Bavarian. American troops went volksmarching too; you get to hike around beautiful countryside with a torch and a walking stick then drink great bier when it was over.
