Reminds me of driving from San Diego to Phoenix many years ago and, east of Yuma, seeing a train with several dozen flatcars loaded with M113s painted in overall MERDC Earth Yellow (IIRC, vehicles in Arizona used the Red Desert color scheme, so it was one of the base colors) on the tracks south of the freeway. If I had to guess, they were going to National Guard units.
