Gentlemen, I need some help. I am color blind, so comparing colors is fairly difficult. So, is Mr Hobby H79 the same color as Tamiya XF 59? Thanks in advance for any and all help, Joel.

I don’t know, I haven’t seen the colors applied to same material and side by side.
hobbylandbg - colourtable says they are interchangeable.
mech9: aqueous-hobby-color-to-tamiya-paints says the same.

In a nutshell, no. They are quite different from one another. XF-59 is darker and more orange brown in tone, while H79 is lighter and more yellow greenish.

Joel, I feel your pain, I too am colourblind. Painting is very intimidating to me.
