Colors and Markings for WW1 Italian Artillery Ammo

I am working on an interesting Italian WW1 mortar kit from Vargas Scale Models. It includes nicely printed mortar bombs. The problem is that I don’t have any research material that shows the color and markings used by Italy in WW1. I have heard that they may have been a dark green with a yellow band on the lower part of the bomb for HE. Or did they follow the British/French/US and go with yellow body with a green band low on the shell for HE and a red band at the top of the shell to indicate that it was filled.

Thanks,
Rick

I have the 1/35th Mortaio da 210/8 D.S. by Criel Model.
For what it’s worth, “W.W.I Italian Military Green / Verde Militare Italiano 1a G.M.” is given for the weapon and the shells. Recommended paint is Tamiya XF-58.
