Stencils applied and painting done - three stencils in all . Caterpillar at radiator top - D9R on rear sides of fuel tanks - and EARTHWORK logo on sides of hood . I put EARTHWORK on as homage to my late brother in law’s company . He and his wife ( my wife’s sister ) started the company from scratch and together built it into a highly successful endeavor.
The company kept growing even as my brother in law was battling liver cancer - he was pronounced terminal and given six months to live but thanks to a new infusion treatment he beat it for 13 years. My sister in law and their sons continued to successfully run the company after my brother in law passed away from other health issues .
They never operated a D9 but they did have a D6 and I got to play with it in their sand pit once . FUN !
