Hi,

Wich is the best kit of the Dauntless in 1/48?

Academy or Hasegawa?

Academy/Italeri/Accurate Miniatures SBD kit is better. They are the same molds. This kit has the dive flaps molded separately from the wings, as well as the perforation holes molded open. The Hasegawa kit has the dive flaps molded in the closed position as part of the respective upper and lower wings, as well as the perforation holes molded as indents and not open. The Academy/Italeri/Accurate Miniatures kit also has superior interior and exterior detailing. I have both in my stash.

I second this. Great kit. Original molds are a few decades old but still top the list.
