Hi guys, before I go with the white number ‘12’ on my dead man’s corner M5A1 (early version as opposed to the late version currently on display at the museum) can someone confirm this is correct? My research leans me toward the white marking but I have seen some art work of the Stuart having a yellow 12. Any feedback and further references to the 70th markings greatly appreciated.

In the photo, the 2 on the hull side looks white, particularly when compared with the glacis plate star and number codes. The 1 may be yellow or a very dust covered or dirty white.
