We call it coyote ugly.
I clean my Future (Pledge Revive-It here in the UK at the moment) out with car windscreen washer fluid - the usual blue mix with a hint of alcohol in it. Dirt cheap by the gallon! I run a cup or two through into my sparmax jar, then dismantle the AB and wipe it all clean.

Looks excellent. What do you do about pin washing? I guess laying down a wash on matt paint is tricky.
Denimo that has not been my experience. In fact a water based acrilic transparent wash will tend to puddle and come out blotchy when done over a gloss finish. I donât have that problem when doing a wash over a matte surface.

I do washes over flat coats as well. No issues.
