Really nice work! ![]()
Nice work!
A few pointers though. The correct name is Telemark Battalion, not Division. The battalion crest (The viking ship) should be white. Your tactical number is wrong. There are no Norwegian tanks with a number 200. For TMBN it could be 1 (First squadron), 1 (first platoon) and 1(first vehicle, platoon leader)=111. Platoon 2IC is 112, third and fourth vehicle is 113 and 114. For second platoon it is 121,122, 123 and 124. Same goes for third platoon. Squadron Commander is 191 and XO is 192.
Swedish traffic rules say that vehicles over 6 metres long or over 3,5 tons shall have
orange/yellow lights or reflectors along the sides.
The Leopard is more than 6 metres and definitely a lot over 3.5 tons.
Some truckers really like lights but the ones circled in pink are the side lights required by law:
I guess Norway and the others have similar rules …
I just added them to make it more dramatic. Swedish and Danish seem to be common… perhaps I should rename this build as a what-if… ![]()
It’s a model. I know its not exact to current standards but again, its a model.
The model was still very nice, regardless of the obscure marking details
That’s a truck - not a tank.. reflectors not lights… I deleted anyway my post too much controversy…
The rule about side reflectors applies to all vehicles,
trucks, trailers, buses, tanks, mobile cranes …
