Here is a photo of my latest piece.

The Horch is a 1/72-scale 3D-printed kit from 3D Gizmo, the BMW motorcycle combo is from a set by Italeri, and the figures are a combination of 3D-printed and white-metal items (specifically
chosen to compliment the North Africa setting.

I am currently preparing a review of the Horch kit, to be published in a forthcoming issue of Military
Modelcraft International.

What is the base?

Thanks for the compliment … much appreciated! The base is an upturned soap dish, which cost me the princely sum of £1 from Poundland. It was originally white, but was spray-painted matt black, and the desert groundwork was recreated using a combination of interior filler, fine gravel and sand, and painted with matt household emulsion.
