As I said I did find images that put him in both locations in this dress but I still feel the clothing is better suited to the Atlantic wall.

Yes you are correct and I believe I said as much in the review. The short of this is that it is a new 1/16th figure that has a lot of good things about it.

The clothing Rommel chose to wear became iconic. In fact, the overcoat was a leather one and it and the scarf were worn all through the African campaign. The goggles are actually British anti-gas goggles appropriated from a captured British vehicle. There is also a well known photograph of him standing on the road to Alexandria in desert rig without the greatcoat, but in the same pose. It was not unusual, from photographic records, to see a mixture of desert and normal European clothing worn together.
