Dewback Resin kit from StannArts
A 1:12 scale resin model kit depicting a Sandtrooper atop his Dewback mount, in search of the droids on Tatooine.
Once assembled, the model kit measures approximately 13 inches long by 10 inches high (from the bottom of the base to the top of the Sandtrooper). All of the resin pieces are solid cast with the exception of the Dewback, which is rotocast (but still quite thick).
The base is nearly 1 inch thick in some places. Most buyers tell me that it is bigger than they anticipated.
The kit includes everything shown in the pictures: Dewback, Imperial Sandtrooper, and the base.
This is NOT a cheap re-casted knock-off. The kit was sculpted and professionally cast in high-quality urethane by the original artist: David W. Stann.
I recommend intermediate to advances skills to assemble and paint this model.

Hello Just to let you know i finally received by Dewback kit ( it spent longer in U.K Customs than it did coming over the pond), and to say a massive thank you… i’m absolutely blown away by it! The sculpt and shape is amazing, i’ve never seen anything else come close to capturing the look of this beast and the fact its a one piece cast only makes it more remarkable…in fact it borders on showing off.
