I know the G1 was based off the Ausf A but the tracks for both the G1 and G2 look to be Ausf G tracks.
I don’t know that much about these late war vehicles but I’m learning a lot from coming to this forum. RFM put out their G2 kit with a set of Ausf. G tracks that have an extra cleat on the corner edge of the track faces. I don’t know if every G2 vehicle received these newer track sets or not? Or if the last production Panthers used these also or not but it sure makes for some interesting modeling.
