They started doing a Round2 display a few years ago for the Christmas season. Normally it’s a bunch of releases from a few years prior but some of those cars look fairly recent. As they sell down and December approaches they might rotate other kits. I got the Polar Lights Enterprise NX-01 a couple of years ago (2 actually) as well as the Construction Bulldozer and the Cement Mixer from AMT.

The '63 Corvette is the 2018 release; they just re-popped it this year as a 3-in-1 kit so this one will just sit on shelves at the SRP.

Most of those are also at Hobby Lobby so if you time it right you should get them for even less with the 40% off special.

Yeah I remember back when Walmart actually had lots of models and supplies to sell. But thats also when shoplifting was at it’s worse. especially the model glue, so eventually Walmart decided to phase that part of thier inventory out. Though they may have kept some in the online sales. With the opening of Hobby Lobby and the number of dedicated hobby shops such as Hobby Town, Walmart must have thought that it wasn’t loosing anything. Me. I don’t really build cars anymore. I used to. But instead I prefer airplanes and tanks. That F-22 looks interesting. But I have so Many others still waiting to be built. That I can’t really justify getting that one. Thanks for the information though.

I used to buy almost all of my 1/48 Bandai armor and supplies at Kmart back in the 70s. I remember Walmart trying to bring it back a couple of years ago but I knew full and well today’s customer base leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to store etiquette (I provided customer service training to new hires at a store in Manhattan so have seen it first-hand). The spray paint and crafts sections should have been all the evidence they needed that glue and paint freely accessible to the civilized and well-mannered youth of today is a no-go. Leave it to HobbyTown and other specialists who have teams of old white dudes to follow you around making sure you don’t ‘test’ the product.

That Snap-Fit Firebird is calling out to you, bro. You know deep down you need it; even if you don’t know why. Do it. If not for yourself then for the children. Do it for the children.

LOL. Nah I think I will stick with Military stuff. But thanks anyway. Besides I don’t have any children.
