The last week or so it seems like when I try to open Armorama in the mornings, I just get the loading circle then get a Gateway timeout. Later it seems to be OK. Anyone else have an issue or am I just an outlier?
same here, it happend to me this morning a few times and i just gave up but now its working fine..(although I am on a different computer)
This has been happening a lot to me this week.
Robin or Jim, you may want to look into this…or not depending on the complexity of the problem.
We’re being hit by more magnetic storm activity from the minor CME the sun popped off yesterday.
It may be of no consequence but I’ve had no problem connecting from Australia. That said, morning in the USA is generally early hours in Oz when I’m long into the land of nod.
Same problem in France this week
Been having sporadic issues, all hours. If I try a few times it’ll catch. Or if I go to Kitmaker and hit forums that way, it works. AI is practicing for the overthrow of the humans.
Each day, good connections alternate with “Gateway” errors since 2 weeks.
Cloudflare check is active again, so I understand it has been a problem of bots/attacks taking the site offline.
With the human check, although it takes a couple of seconds, accessing problems should be solved.
There were outages world wide and some even took whole platforms like TikTok down in some places..
It a practice run that’s going on..
Just keep it on a swivel. Stay strapped.. the next few weeks are gonna be interesting
Sounds like more of Chrome Incompetence
Mine happens in Edge.
Connecting with this site has been erratic for the last week or so. Sometimes it works fine, sometimes takes 2 or 3 tries. Nothing has changed on my browser or hardware.
Ever since KitMaker took over some years ago the only way I can get on Armorama is to Google it first. Frustrating.
Armorama was part of Kitmaker loooong before the new implementation.
Well! I never knew about Kitmaker until I watched Armomama a few times , then all of a sudden no more Armorama? the only way to view it was to google it.
The link in my post above is what I got when I googled Armorama.
It worked fine when I posted that post.
Now, one hour later, it wants to check that I am human.
The simple link now defaults to this gibberish:
https://armorama.com/?_gl=1*1il9bp*_ga*NDAzODM3MzI4LjE2ODU2Mzc2MTk.*_ga_CRB66E19QT*czE3NTcxNzkzNDMkbzY5MjQkZzEkdDE3NTcxODA1NzkkajUxJGwwJGgw
@staff_Jim
Jim, any ideas?
I have the idea that bots once again have drained the site of burstable bandwidth or we under a DDos attack.
So yes once again you will need to prove you are human to use the site.
The problem of proving human or not is not a problem to work with. It was the loading issue I had when I typed in Armorama. I sometimes get the loading circle and it times out without loading. I am using Edge and Google.
