Dragon’s new “Historical Battlefield” series captures some of the most iconic scenes of famous battles in kit form and makes diorama-building accessible for modellers of all levels.

This looks a good size space to be able to add more substance. I think having a Stug and four figures on a 35cm by 25cm base might look a bit sparse. Also good move to make it linkable to another base to expand if needed.
Question though; is this a response to the Miniart ‘diorama in a box’ products? Not the buildings a base sets but ones like Miniart 36066 (Caen 1944) and 36063 ( repair dio) which seem to have been popular but are hard to get.

I wonder if the MiniArt trolleys will fit the rails.

The small image at the lower left in the first and second pictures, labeled “Ron Volstad’s artistic touches”, shows a trolley behind the StuG, suggesting that they should fit, assuming the molded rails have the correct gauge; whether the flangeways are molded deep enough is a different question.

Ah, but that doesn’t really matter because as mentioned, you have 'Ron Volstad’s artistic touches’© pulling it all together.
