Dragon King Tiger #6303 build start to finish

This is the Dragon KT #6303 which has been in my stash for some time.
I used Aber antenna, Friul tracks and 3D printed cable clips/brackets.
No idea how accurate it is and I don’t care.
First time trying ATOM paints and heavy chipping fluid. IMHO the chipping in places went to far.
Weathered with various pigments and dirt/scatter home made from dried leaves from my garden.
Wouldn’t be a Tiger without lots of wheels.

Hull and suspension arms, all very straightforward.

Note jack in picture, never saw it again after a visit from some ankle biters…

No fit issues but the upper hull was warped slightly and needed some clamping to get it attached correctly.

Test fitting the rear showed similar problems to above.

Added power cable for light from lead wire. I read that the light was supposed to be removed before going into action so I left it off.

Improved the texture on the front.

Ready for paint.

Home brew red primer on metal surfaces.

ATOM zimmerit colour on the appropriate areas.

Followed by chipping fluid and the camo colours.

Sealed with varnish and pin was applied to welds etc.

Wheels painted and a dark brown wash applied.

Painted tools etc.

Cartograph decals applied and despite multiple applications of setting solution couldn’t get them to realy hunker down in the zimmerit.
Washes, oils and home made scatter applied and done.
