As the title says I have 2 questions. 1. I have a memory of some mode; maker producing a M26A1 soft top body for the Tamiya M26. I know about the Calibre35, from a bunch of years ago, but, they may as well be made of unobtainium as hard as they are to find. 2. what are the odds on seeing a M26 Armored Cab in Korea, or did they strip the armored of the chassis ant replace them with the soft cab? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated, thanks Joel.
There are a few M26A1 soft cabs sets out there.

I believe by the Korean war, all M26s had been converted into M26A1 soft cabs.
Is that two of them?
Frenchy strikes again.
I believe I’ll have another glass of single malt.
That’s a cool pic
They made almost 1,400 M26s (including M26A1s) and there wasn’t enough money to do everything the Army wanted after the war. ISTR seeing a number for the M26A1 kits and it was far less than enough to convert everything.

Having experienced the extreme cold in Korea myself, it only makes sense you’d want at least a few of them to be able to protect the troops from the cold as well as shrapnel.Trying to accomplish anything with blackened fingers and toes can’t be an easy task,
