I remember supervising the unfortunates on the working party tasked with burning the crapper at ad Diwaniyah, we selected a place where the prevailing wind direction took the smoke directly into the our COC…unintentionally, I swear. There were a whole lot of PO’d officers, my platoon commander who was a mustang thought it was funny, because the only other available site would have been unsat - our food and water source was downwind. Just had to keep an eye on a couple of the Lance Coolies who weren’t so bright that they didn’t try to dump more fuel on the fire while it was still going.

Oh no complaints from me. I just fet other theaters were under-represented.
I brought up the topic as it is one that I have always felt was neglected in the modelling community. Hobby Link is coming out with an amazing assortment of kits of things I never thought would be done! All support units were there and deserve to be recognized. Wayne

The Peacemaker was renamed Mafia Operated when it was transferred to Engineer Region 2 at Nha Trang. It and Old Glory, a 5 ton with APC body were the ones we had. Wayne
