ESCI's IDF M60A1 Blazer in progress

Hi all,
Before I could start painting the other ESCI M60 kit, I went ahead and started putting together the IDF Blazer kit. Feedback is welcomed.
Mostly out of the box with some scratch-building but used the Academy lower hull b/c that’s what came with when I purchased this kit from an eBay seller. Did some major surgery on the Urdan cupola b/c the kit one was simply too big. The reproduced one is still a bit big, and I’ve decided to live with it.
Hope to start painting soon…

Kind regards,
James

Some close-ups. You can tell I am not a good model photographer. I need some more practice and tips.

Some nice tweaks. Wasn’t a bad kit for it’s day. :+1: :+1:

Lovin all the white styrene tweaks … It makes the rest of the detail stand out more . Really nice work . You are a true styrene surgeon.

Nice!
Would you mind telling more about the urdan cupola? How did you adjust it?

Here’s how I modified the cupola. I sliced only the top 3 mm of the kit part. Then made a stack of styrene rings to make a correct height. Glued them together then put some putty and sanded smooth. I’ve also made a resin copy to use it on other ESCI kits. Please see below:
