It looks accurate. Accurate is good.
One thing: the skin of a Sabre looks pretty much exactly like it does on the box art.
So why the deep, deep panel lines?
Makes it look like a 1960’s/1970’s vintage cast metal kit. (Modern cast metal kits don’t have that at all - my LHS has heaps of them.)
Is Airfix marketing for 40- and 50-year olds with nostalgia or something?
Anyway, I do want one. As for the panel lines: some filler, some scribing, done.

Overdone panel lines are a common feature on new Airfix. And yes I agree, it makes them look very toylike.
That and inconsistent detail. You can crisp and soft and mushy all in the same kit. They’re doing some good stuff, but I do feel they get a bit sloppy towards the end of tooling projects.
But, I’m sure this one will be a great kit. I just wish I could get the 1/72 Sabre again.
