F106 wheel well color?

I have the 1/48 Trumpeter kit with resin upgraded wheel wells. I went over to McChord field today and photographed some details of their F106. The wheel wells were a dark olive green. All the hydraulic lines and the well itself. The landing gear was silver. So is this correct? If not, do you have a better set of color photo’s?

So what color is “Y”?

I wondered the same thing. Yellow Zinc Chromate? That is a pretty standard non crew area airframe interior color in that era.

Edit- looking up: MIL-P-8585 is an one stock reference for Zinc Chromate Primer
