Fairey Gannet XG882 was delivered to former RAF Errol Airfield Abandoned | AeroScale

A fantastic diorama of the Fairey Gannet, the first-ever turbojet with twin contra-rotating propellers. Fairey Gannet XG882 was delivered to the former RAF Errol airfield but was in the end just left to decay, a sad case of bureaucracy at it's worst.

There’s a Fairey-Gannet on display at the Pima Air & Space Museum here in Tucson, AZ.

This is an older picture, but the plane was restored and in much better condition than this.

is the derelict aircraft still there at ex-RAF Errol?

Apparently so. Its on google maps, just look for the airfield and its on the west side near a big hanger/barn.
