Yes, my theory is that they tried to set Ferdinand on fire with Molotov cocktails. Probably for propaganda pictures or as part of an exercise, it makes the most sense to me. Burns are not visible anywhere else, there was certainly no explosion and large fire inside the fighting area, the Ferdinands that burned inside are tanned, rusty, smoked on the outside, this one has no such traces. Maybe the area with the coolers was on fire, but probably no one will find out. It is obvious from the pictures that the front armor is burnt and the barrel is smoked. However, how it happened is just a theory, I tried as much as possible to imitate the appearance from historical photos, let others judge whether I succeeded or not

Kit is from Amussing Hobby, but the interior is 95% my own model and 3D print, the exterior is about 50% redesigned - see:

I thought it may have been 1/16 scale with the amount of detail you did! Wow is all I can say.

The DISPAE vise adapter is pretty cool. 3D printing interests me however I wouldn’t even know where to start or what to do lol.

Sorry, on first post wasn´t text in english:

Hello everyone.
I think Ferdinand is done.
Next stage - diorama with two S-65 Stalinetz - see topic:

There are photos in this thread that compare the original and the model.
When placing it in the diorama, I will also adjust the tracks, wheels and add clay to the tracks, maybe some small thing for the interior…
